    UNITED NATIONS

Efforts to stop immigration and the mix of cultures are bound to fail, Mexico's President Enrique Pena Nieto told a United Nations summit on migrants and refugees on Monday, as his country's northern border has become an issue in the U.S. presidential election campaign.

Pena Nieto took a public opinion shellacking for hosting Republican Party candidate Donald Trump on Aug. 31 because Trump has repeatedly vowed to build a border wall to keep out illegal immigrants and said Mexico would pay for it.

"History shows that there are no barriers that can stop either the movement of people or the fusion of cultures," Pena Nieto said in his address to the summit ahead of the U.N. General Assembly.

"Neither natural nor artificial barriers hold sway. For every river there has always been a bridge. For every obstacle there has always been a way forward. Movement is an essential part of human existence," he said.

Trump has infuriated Mexicans with a series of broadsides against the United States' southern neighbor.

"We are a proudly mestizo, multi-cultural and diverse nation," Pena Nieto said, referring to Mexican of mixed descent.

"We Mexicans firmly believe that this mestizo fusion is the future and destiny of human kind."

Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party candidate in the Nov. 8 election, has accused Trump of embracing a brand of U.S. political conservatism associated with white nationalism and nativism.

She has linked Trump's statements about immigration and religion to the rise of a political fringe movement in the U.S. known as the "alternative right", which opposes multiculturalism and immigration.

That's how they wiped out the black race in Mexico who had more black slaves than the US for many years, yet there are no blacks today in Mexico, except for one small group who live in rural village on the west coast of Mexico.

Typical bravado - because his country is mainly mixed races, all countries should be. And mexico and other countries want the monies to be made in a civilized USA society with all the freebies too. Push their criminal element, their overbreeders on USA to pay for in many ways while getting remittances sent back to their country. Great takeover deal for the invading countries w/o raising a sword or rifle.

I've read that due to a law after the early European explorer arrivals, thousands of natives from the Americas were brought to Europe for workers/slaves but only pure natives was the wording. Many mixed races to escape that permission to take overseas.

They did a lot of damage, but in the end, they were victorious... within scope, of course.

    Demographics of Mexico

    Other ethnic groups[edit]

See also: Arab Mexican, Afro-Mexican, and Asian Mexican

Mexico has had a small population of people of African descent since colonial times. Many are the descendants of slaves brought to Mexico, others the descendants of immigrants from Cuba, the United States, Haiti, and other countries. Mexicans of African descent are particularly numerous in the Costa Chica region of Guerrero and Oaxaca, and along the coast of Veracruz.

Other groups of immigrants include people of Lebanese and Syrian origin[23] present in significant numbers in Puebla and Yucatán, as well as Chinese, Japanese, Filipinos, and Koreans.[24]

The largest concentrations of East Asians are in Baja California with a large Chinatown in Mexicali known as La Chinesca on the US-Mexican border. There are various others unmentioned here...

We need to put America First. Mexico prefers itself and its people and always puts its interest at the top.

Maybe barriers can't completely stop ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, but they can certainly make things more manageable by slowing it down considerably.

The Mexican President knows that without the commitment to hunt down and expel illegal immigrants who are already here, building a wall and perfectly controlling the borders is pointless. And that's all we are hearing now, "Build the Wall."
