    HIGHGATE, Vt. --
The U.S. Border Patrol says a North Carolina woman is facing charges for transporting people into the United States who didn't have permission to be in the country.

A complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Burlington says Border Patrol agents were alerted early Sunday that six people had walked into the United States from Canada in Highgate, Vermont.

Agents spotted an SUV driven by 31-year-old Carmen Melari Ferrufino Perdomo, of Charlotte, North Carolina, a U.S. citizen originally from Honduras. It's unclear if she has an attorney.

In the car were six Mexican citizens who told investigators they had crossed into the United States that night.

The Border Patrol says the area where the group was first spotted has seen multiple smuggling events in the past few weeks.

Certainly not grateful for citizenship. Perhaps it could be revoked if convicted of smuggling. All of the hispanic groups are working together for this takeover - the conquering of America.

They do not respect USA. Whether they are working for drug cartels in the smuggling business or separate organizations, there are more and more legally present hispanics, even 50 yr olds caught moving the drugs and people. It is like they have an underground job market.

Has anyone of them turned any of these law breaking enterprises in? NO! So much for necessary to have sanctuary cities to build trust with law enforcement.

Actually in many hispanic neighborhoods of the cities, the police let anything happen. The community has their own economy and it involves drugs, prostitution of young girls, fencing stolen goods. The police lay low. Because that is what the community will bear. True in many black communities too. Baltimore, Chicago, areas of NY are a jungle of crime. Difficult job for law enforcement to get a grip on.
