Mixed family welfare benefits controlled by illegal alien parents

According to data release by Utah’s Workforce Services, 10% of Utah families receiving public assistance have a blend of citizens and undocumented immigrants relying on public benefits to survive.
his calls into serious question the often repeated assertion that illegal aliens do not receive taxpayer funded benefits.
While it may be technically correct to say that illegal aliens do not qualify directly for taxpayer funded, welfare benefits, the Workforce Services figures show that in reality illegal aliens are directly benefiting from taxpayer funded welfare programs through their American born children.

Illegal aliens clearly rely on their children's taxpayer funded benefits to help make ends meet.

These taxpayer funded welfare benefits help offset the low wages paid by employers who hire illegal aliens, cover the costs of illegal aliens having babies, and pay for medical care for the American born children of illegal aliens.

Although the benefits provided ostensibly go to the illegal aliens’ American born children, in reality the benefits go to and are controlled by the illegal alien parents since infants and minor children do not manage their own affairs.

Once under control of the parents, the benefits such as food stamps, housing subsidies and energy assistance can be used for all members of the family who are illegally in the United States, not just for the American citizen children.

In humanitarian crises with high levels of life threatening child malnutrition, it is common for parents to obtain food rations for a malnourished child and then to share the ration with the rest of the family or to give it to a healthier child who can help work the fields and earn income for the family.

This is such a problem that humanitarian organizations are often forced to provide food for the entire family in order to ensure that the one child who is ill receives the food provided for her.

Thus, while the federal government and Workforce Services officials may argue that the American child is the recipient of taxpayer funded welfare benefits, it is obvious that the illegal alien parents are the real beneficiaries of the assistance since they control how it is used.

And, just like the malnourished children in families in disaster areas, there is no guarantee that the American children benefit from the taxpayer funded assistance.

The bottom line is that illegal aliens control and benefit from taxpayer funded welfare benefits.

As if we didn't already know this. This is why the anchor baby stuff has to be stopped. Just another way for the Illegals to sit on their butts and let us support them. It's bad enough we have to support the legal citizens of this country, there is no way we should have to support these people too.
