Man Gives Away Dead Daughter's ID

MINDEN, Nev. (AP) -- A Stateline man has been placed on two years of probation for illegally transferring his dead infant daughter's Social Security number and birth certificate to help a woman obtain a fraudulent driver's license.

Rodrigo Lopez Loranca on Tuesday also was ordered to complete 40 hours of community service. He also must cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials regarding his residency status.

The 46-year-old man was arrested in March after an investigation by the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles.

Loranca, who pleaded guilty to possession of a document to establish false identity, says he was not paid for the transaction.

District Judge Dave Gamble says the crime was even more offensive because it involved Loranca's use of his deceased daughter's identification.

if this man was a legal immigrant, revoke his papers and make him illegal and deport him back to where he came from NOW
