Louisiana Meyhem-Illegals in Car Chase, DWI, threatened cop

THIBODAUX — A driver in the country illegally faces multiple charges for leading police on a high-speed chase and making threats that included killing one officer’s family and blowing up the Sheriff’s Office, authorities said.

Arturo Ramos, 25, 135 E. 157th St., Galliano, was driving on La. 308 in Cut Off early Saturday when a deputy tried to pull him over for driving without his headlights, police said. That led to a chase that reached speeds of more than 100 mph and forced oncoming cars off the road as Ramos swerved in and out of traffic.

Ramos crashed the pickup near La. 308 and East 161st Street and was tased by State Police trooper Frank Besson as he tried to run away, police said.

Ramos also refused to submit to an alcohol-breath test, threatened one officer’s family and threatened to blow up the Sheriff’s Office substation in Galliano, police said.

He is charged with driving without headlights, aggravated flight from an officer, reckless operation, a traffic light violation, operating a vehicle without lawful presence in the U.S., making threats, three counts of resisting an officer, fourth-offense DWI and improper lane usage.

In an unrelated arrest, deputies were called about 2:30 p.m. Saturday to Blackie’s restaurant on La. 1 in Lockport on a report that a man was refusing to leave and trying to fight customers.

Juan Beltran, 25, 400 N. Carol St., Lockport, left the po-boy shop before police arrived but was later found bleeding in the woods near North Oak Street.

Beltran told police that because he was drunk, his neighbor hit him. Beltran gave deputies a Social Security card and a permanent resident card as identification then later admitted both cards were fake.

He was identified by witnesses as the man causing the disturbance at the po-boy shop, police said. He is charged with two counts of disturbing the peace while intoxicated.

Beltran and Ramos are in the country illegally, police said. They are being held for transfer to immigration officials for deportation proceedings. Their home countries were not immediately available.

Unbelievable...I don't know why it happens over and over again. This is what we are spending billions on, lax law enforcement! How pathetic!

Once he is turned over to the Feds it will probably go something like this....."Ok now, we gotta act like we disapprove of what you did until this thing cools down. Then we'll give you a tickertape parade and sing "For He Is the Jolly Good Fellow" for you. Don't sweat it amego." These racist Americans are always harrassing the poor innocent wonderful drunken violent illegal alien invaders. Schtinking Xenophobes!!! Someone call the aclu."

Ok, on a serious note....If he threatened the officers family and threatened to blow up the sheriff's substation, that sounds a little bit like how the cartels conduct themselves in their war against the Mehecan gubmint. I've heard that the cops down there don't take these kinds of threats lightly because too many of them have been actually carried out down there. Is this what we have to look forward to in this country?? Thanks again Jorge Boosh, Barry Soetoro and your globalist puppetmasters.
