Obama: States Cannot Have Their Own Immigration Laws

President Obama says the U.S. cannot deal with immigration in a piecemeal, state-by-state manner.

President Obama says it would be chaotic for states to create their own immigration policies, and said his administration has been forceful in enforcing immigration laws.

In an interview with WSB-TV, which is based in Georgia, Obama assailed that state’s new immigration law, which treats being in the country illegally as a crime and allows police to act as quasi-immigration agents.

The Georgia Legislature recently passed the measure, which awaits the signature of Gov. Nathan Deal, Republican, who has said he plans to approve it.

if the FEDERAL government would just enforce all existing immigration laws.

I noticed that Obama only has a problem with states that want to enforce the laws. I haven't seen him say anything about Utah passing it's own "immigration" laws.

EXACTLY!!!! THE ONLY REASON HE CAME OUT AND SAID THIS WAS BECAUSE MORE STATES ARE ENACTING THEIR ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT LAWS BECAUSE OSAMA WOULDN'T DEPORT ANY ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AND HE AND THE DEMS WOULD LOSE ALL THEIR VOTERS!!!!

If he do not want States to enact immigration laws, stop blocking the Country existing immigration laws and have them enforced the way they are suppose to be enforced.

What is he waiting for? States are going broke supporting illegal aliens. Fraud, criminal crimes and unlawful employments is increasing, which causes citizens to become even more unemployed and at risk for heinous criminal actions. The longer he waits, the worst things will become. He must understand and take actions against illegal immigration quickly to eliminate the current uncontrollable situations all States have to deal with.

Since Obama likes illegals aliens so much perhaps he could move to south of our border and run for office in Latin America and become their El Presidente! But wait is he not already a Chavez style president right here at home in the United States of America?

I can't wait for 2012 when he is sent back to thuggerland Chicago where he can go back to being the community organizer agitator he is.

He had a hard enough time proving he was born in the U.S.
How would he ever get elected there without a birth certificate?
