On Friday, President Barack Obama pushed for U.S. amnesty legislation while at a naturalization ceremony in South Korea for troops and military spouses, saying he would "keep on pushing" to get comprehensive immigration reform legislation done this year.

Obama said if America wanted to attract the "best and the brightest," it had to "fix our broken immigration system and pass common-sense immigration reform."

"This is a huge advantage to us -- the talent that we attract," he continued at the War Memorial of Korea, according to the White House. "We don't want to make it harder; we want to make it more sensible, more efficient. That’s why I’m going to keep on pushing to get this done this year, so that others like the young men and women here have the opportunity to join our American family and serve our great nation."

As Breitbart News has reported, Republicans in Congress, led by Rep. Jeff Denham (R-CA) and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA), are trying to push amnesty for illegal immigrant DREAMers who enlist in the military. That effort has met considerable resistance from conservatives and amnesty opponents.
