Nov. 26, 2013 – ICE, industry warn public of holiday scams
A group of federal partners at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)-led National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center (IPR Center) teamed with industry and nonprofit organizations to warn consumers today to be wary of holiday shopping scams designed to dupe them into buying counterfeit products. Nov. 26, 2013 – 1 year later: Austin's newly formed ICE team arrests 174 criminals
Since the local office of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) established its Fugitive Operations Team in October 2012, officers from this Austin office have arrested 198 aliens, including 174 with criminal histories. Full Story

Nov. 26, 2013 – Final 4 of 29 inmates and guards convicted in Operation Prison Cell sentenced in southeast Texas
