The very first sentence William Gheen said made me stand up!

When I was in the USMC, my fellow foxhole Devil Dog was was a former ROK soldier. He was a tough-as-nails guy and I had his back and he had mine.

He spoke little English when he arrived to the School of Infantry, so we got "thrashed" a lot together due to him taking a long time to try and process
the instructions we were given by the instructor.
Through the pain, we would be laughing at each other's pain...

They aren't supposed to be able to, it's supposed to be against military regulations. They get false records to get in and in the video Sanchez said there were thousands, tens of thousands of illegal aliens in the military. That isn't true, that's a huge lie. There are very few, a few hundred who somehow made it in with deception and without careful examination by reviewers apparently, so it isn't a big problem. It's gotten a little larger because of DACA. Even with DACA, there are only a few hundred out of the 800,000 DACAs who used their DACA to join the military. The military needs to make it abundantly clear that no illegal aliens will be accepted into the US military, anyone who gets through and is discovered will be ejected with a dishonorable discharge, turned over to ICE and promptly deported.

There are so many reasons why it is just wrong for any illegal alien to be in the US military, and I hope Trump enforces the law that prohibits them from working in the military going forward.

Sanchez also made an erroneous statement when he was arguing with William about the majority of Americans and the will of the people. Sanchez said the majority of Americans supported slavery. No, they didn't. Sanchez must be a recent comer to the United States or he would know that the vast majority of Americans adamantly opposed slavery, which is why when states, Congress and courts failed to end it, Americans took up their arms and fought the bloodiest war ever fought by Americans to end it, the only people in world history to fight a civil war to end slavery.

There have been 3 truly remarkable periods of American history, that still leave me in awe of the spirit, honor and intelligence of our people as a whole. The American Revolution, little musket armed farmers and shop-keepers defeating the British Empire to win our Independence; the Republicans and Union Army Volunteers who fought the Civil War to free 4 million slaves in the South and end Slavery in the United States; and the role of the Americans in winning WWII in 3 years and 8 months.

To me, these are 3 of the most significant events in not only our own history but human history.

There's a famous quote about "if you don't learn from history, you're doomed to repeat it." This implies that you want to know your history so as to not repeat mistakes. But, there is another reason to know your history, and that is to know what you're capable of doing to fix them.

I just looked up Rick Sanchez, and yes, he's a newcomer. Immigrant from Cuba.

We need an immediate 10 to 20 Year Moratorium on All Immigration, and we need it now.

No illegal aliens should be admitted to our Military forces.

Go home and join the military in YOUR country and die for YOUR country.

How do these countries move forward if all their people come here!!! They need to stay and fight for their rights and freedom on their soil. Not flee and continue to allow their corrupt government rule and suppress their people for another 5 years, 10 years...50 years.

DEPORT THEM ALL!!!

As I shared with you in another thread, for the North the main purpose of the civil war was to preserve the Union, not free slaves. Don't know why you persist in ignoring actual historical facts and continue to insist the civil war was all about liberating slaves. Additionally, the Revolutionary war wasn't just about "little musket armed farmers and shop keepers defeating the British Empire." Without French intervention, we would have lost that war decisively. While movies are entertaining to watch, they frequently lack important details and historical facts.

Benjamin Franklin and Gouvernor Morris were influential in getting the help of France during the Revolution, they helped us secretly for years, then after the great battle of Saratoga when we won, a turning point in the war and it looked like we could win it, then the French soon declared War on Great Britain and helped US finish them of in the open.

How you grew up believing the Civil War wasn't about slavery but about the price of imported finery, that our country would have never won our War for Independence against Great Britain but for the French, and the reason there are more blacks in prison for non-violent drug charges is because they use more drugs than whites and the studies that prove otherwise are "lies" because blacks lie more on drug surveys than whites .... is a real head-scratcher.

Like I originally said, We would not have won the Revolutionary War without French intervention. Geez, 90% of our gunpowder was supplied by the French. Our troops would have been using their "little muskets" as clubs had the French not aided us. Nothing you've said dispels my comment that we would have lost the war without the French.

I'm not attempting to be funny, however, I am correcting fallacies when I see them.

I said nothing about "imported finery". That is you misrepresenting my words. If you're going to comment specifically on something I say, please quote me, not create your own comment and pass it off as mine.

Without the French assistance, we would not have won the Revolutionary War. That's a fact easily proven for anyone caring to do a little research.

If you have a problem with the African-American crime/drug study information I presented, then take it to the author that provided the factual data used for his conclusion. It's his study and information, not mine. If you have a statistical data source that dispels his data/statistics, I'm more than willing to read it. Why do you always insist your truth is the only truth and everyone else lies? Maybe it would be helpful if you would occasionally provide a source for your supposed truths instead of expecting us to take your word for it.
