A Twinsburg Police officer pulled over a speeding driver only to discover the 34-year-old woman was in the country illegally after already being deported once.

On Jan. 17, a police officer pulled over a woman driving more than 50 miles per hour on Aurora Road near the I-480 bridge.

The woman told police that she and her husband had recently moved to the area from the Columbus area, but the woman had no identification and her story didn't square with other information she was giving police, including the name she gave police, according to the report.

She was arrested and police made an inquiry with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which revealed that the woman was in the country illegally and once been deported. Police say the woman later admitted this, according to the police report.

U.S. Immigration Department plans to assign an agent to the case for possible deportation of the woman, according to the report.
