Oklahoma City man accused of manufacturing child pornography

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Police have arrested an Oklahoma City man they say was creating child pornography at his metro home.

The Edmond Police Department reports on March 11 a detective working with the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task force found the IP address of a user sharing child pornography.

Authorities were able to get an physical address associated with the IP address and secured a search warrant. On Sept. 23 authorities searched the home, in the 1400 block of SW 59 Street, and allegedly found several child porn photos on 34-year-old Luis Rodriguez-Verona's cell phone.

Police also found pajamas inside the home that matched a pair of pajamas in one of the child porn photos on the cell phone.

Rodriguez-Verona was arrested on complaints of aggravated possession of child pornography, violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act, distribution of child pornography, lewd acts with a child under 16 and manufacturing child pornography. The Edmond police say the man is undocumented and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is working on a hold in the case.
