Thanks Rush Limbaugh, Thanks Glenn Beck, Thanks Sarah Palin, Thanks Tim Pawlenty, Thanks Rick Santorum, Thanks Fred Thompson, Thanks "conservatives", you just gave Nancy Pelosi another YES on her communist health care reform bill with Bill Owens, instead of the guaranteed NO we had with Dede Sozzafava.

Republicans, please do not do this any more. Do not abandon your Republican candidate because of lies, distortions and misrepresentations spewed forth by a disgruntled loser who didn't get the Republican nomination and decided to jump ship to the open borders, free trade treason crowd at the Conservative Party funded by Club for Growth.

Sure. What did Hoffman and his supporters think she was going to do? Support a social conservative funded by Club for Growth and the Susan B Anthony List PAC who lied about her position on health care, cap and trade and taxation on national television for over 10 days straight before the election?

The reason Owens (narrowly) won is because of the fecklessness of the Republican Party leadership, who tried to foist an intolerable candidate onto upstate voters without so much as a party primary.

What was intolerable to you or anyone else about Dede Scozzafava who opposed Pelosi/ObamaCare, who opposed cap and trade, who opposed tax increases and who would vote the party line on amnesty/shamnesty?

Did anyone expect him to do otherwise/? It also illustrates , again, Dede's left leaning positions. I believe that had she been elected she would be the Olympia Snowe of NY.

No, no, no! Hoffman didn't enter the race 2 weeks ago. He entered the race as a Conservative over 2 MONTHS ago on August 7, 2009 after he lost the Republican nomination to Dede Scozzafava. Dede had this election won HANDS DOWN over both the Democrat and Conservative until about 2 weeks ago when Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Fred Thompson, Rick Santorum and Tim Pawlenty decided to use their national names, press coverage and/or endorsements to spread lies, misrepresentations and distortions about the voting record and positions of Dede Scozzafava to support a Conservative candidate, Doug Hoffman, instead of Dede, the Republican candidate. She was duly and properly selected in accordance with state law for special elections in New York, the same way Bil Owens was selected.

Owens wins of course, after the national hoop-blah from the out of staters, and Obama points to Owens win in his pitch today to reassure Democrats that supporting health care reform will not hurt them in the 2010 races:
