Palin supports AZ. SB1070 - but still supports amnesty
Sarah Palin Supports Arizona SB1070 - But Still Supports Amnesty For Illegal Aliens [Video]
Sarah Palin went on the Sean Hannity show last night and did an interview where she states that she supports the Arizona law that will question suspected illegal aliens for their legal status papers if they are stopped for a crime.
There was one little tidbit that Palin let slip though that I am sure many people missed. Referring to illegal aliens Palin said "many of them want to come over here to find that Pathway to Citizenship they want".
Huh? Did I just miss something? I could have swore that in October 1998 Sarah Palin told Univision she was for a Pathway to Citizenship for illegal aliens.
Univision: To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
Sarah Palin: I do because I understand why people would want to be in America.
So something is amiss here. Palin is for a "Pathway to Citizenship" for illegal aliens, but then openly admits that illegal aliens are coming here for a "Pathway to Citizenship". It doesn't make logical sense, unless of course you actually want illegal aliens drawn to this country so that you can grant them an amnesty... err I mean a "Pathway to Citizenship".
And no I don't dislike Sarah as a person and think she looks great in the video. Better than she has in a while actually. Musta had a vacation. Maybe in sunny Cancun.
Watch the video below.
Palin: Pathway To Citizenship She Would Give Is "Incentive" for Illegal Aliens

Palin is pretending to be a Tea Partier. She is actually part and parcel of the GOP elite. So she is following the Repub's latest game plan,....border security first, but no mandatory E Verify and no issuance of No Match letters so the illegals here can stay, then in 2012 amnesty.
Take a stand or all there will be left to do is to ask the last person in the country we once called America to lower the flag one last time.

Well...this is getting personal. That is sad. But from your own digger page came this video...I watched it and I simply don't understand the problem. I guess being in Arizona and her totally standing behind our new laws I am bias toward her.
I simply don't know what to say about anything until legislation is actually being drafted to see what it proposes and then see who is yah or nay on it. Till then I will just keep watching all the BS flying all over...
Thanks for your posts...

Like Sheriff Joe Arpaio said, all of these politicians in both parties keep reiterating the same cliche over and over again. That cliche is lets secure the border. Yes lets secure the border, but lets also enforce the law against those who are already in the country. No one wants to talk about interior enforcement because of Political Correctness.
We do not need "Comprehensive Immigration Reform." We need Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement of the laws which are already on the books. That means if you are in the country illegally, you get deported. End of story.

Why isn't Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee standing up for AZ ?"A Government big enough to give you everything you want,is strong enough to take everything you have"* Thomas Jefferson

Carly Fiorina, a GOP primary candidate for the senate for CA, reaction to the AZ is so obtuse that non one can figure out where she stands.
The fact is, the major GOP players nationally, may be saying "Border Security" but then there is the qualifier... they add "first". Obbviously, they are looking to pass a border law in 2011 and then in 2012 go for amnesty before the Presidential election.
None of them is demanding E Verify become mandatory for all current and future employees.
None of them is demanding that the SS Admin issue the "No Match" letters.
They are trying to appease the public, then get credit from the Hispanic voters when they pass amensty in 2012, all the time satisfying the monied elite, their true boss.
We have to keep holding their feet to the fire.Take a stand or all there will be left to do is to ask the last person in the country we once called America to lower the flag one last time.

I read Mitt Romney is pro amnesty, as is Huckabee.

Yesterday, I signed the following pledge:
"I pledge to oppose amnesty or any other special path to citizenship for the millions of foreign nationals unlawfully present in the United States. As President, I will fully implement enforcement measures that, over time, will lead to the attrition of our illegal immigrant population. I also pledge to make security of our borders a top priority of my administration."
Important points:
1. The 12 to 20 million illegal immigrants now here will have to go home.
2. They will not get any legal status while here that allows them to remain long-term.
3. Once in their home countries, they may apply for re-admittance to the U.S. as immigrants, visitors or temporary workers through normal channels.
4. Once in their home countries, they will not receive any special privileges on the basis of their having been in the U.S. illegally, such as being put to the front of a visa line.
5. There will be no new categories or programs through which they may re-enter the U.S.
6. There will not be an expansion of green cards in any existing categories that will speed up their movement to the front of the line.
(The Governor agreed to this pledge made to the American people with his public signing before the national media on Jan. 16, 2008 at North Greenville University, South Carolina.)
