Perry open to sending U.S. troops to Mexico

Perry open to sending U.S. troops to Mexico

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire (AP) – Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry says he is open to sending American troops to Mexico to help battle drug cartels.

Perry, the Texas governor, likens the situation to Colombia, where the government accepted American military support in battling the war on drugs.

Perry says the current violence may require similar military action.

He often calls for more National Guard troops to help protect the Mexican border and stem the flow of illegal immigration. But Saturday's comments go further. They indicate he's open to deepening America's military involvement across the border.

Perry's comments came at a Saturday afternoon reception at the home of New Hampshire Republican gubernatorial candidate Ovide Lamontagne.

A spokesman later clarified that Perry is open to all options to cooperate with Mexico.

It is my understanding that Mexico doesn't want any law enforcement officers of ours down there armed so don't think they would be open to this idea either.

Another article with additional excuses for Texas Toast's Pro-ILLEGAL stand along with his new plan for invading mexico.

Where does TEXAS TOAST receive his advice? I can not remember one United States Citizen expressing a desire to invade mexico. I hear many that want to defend the United States from the invasion of the ILLEGALS and the various crimes, murder, rape, and drugs that come with being a Third World Country. Texas Toast receives his advice from his Elitist Political Contributors who want the cheap ILLEGAL labor to flow no matter the cost to United States Citizens in life or treasury.

NOTE: Rick Perry is drawing at straws and trying to convince those against amnesty to buy into his ludicrous statements of the US sending military troops into Mexico to fight the drug cartels there.

What Perry should have done as the governor of Texas was to put his full weight behind other governors and efforts to repel the invasion on American soil such as what Arizona Governor Jan Brewer attempted to do with AZ SB1070. Perry of course said Texas would have no part of any such efforts.

He is a liar and an imposter.

Perry hit a nerve with liberals on his comments of sending troops into Mexico. This is from a liberal author who prides himself in supporting Obama, and is from Obama's hometown of Chicago.

Rick Perry's backpedals on Mexico invasion, but campaign troubles continue

Rick Perry has not had a very good week: politically speaking, of course. This past week, Rick Perry stated to a crowd in Hampton, NH that as President he would favor military intervention in Mexico and root out the evils of immigration and hunt down the drug cartels. With the help of the Mexican governement, and only if the Mexican government gave permission to invade its country.

I discussed it in a recent article here when Perry told an audience in Hampton NH that he would use military intervention in Mexico to protect the borders and stop the drug trade over our borders.

Republican Governor Rick Perry of Texas once again showed why he is utterly unqualified to become President of the United States. In his first real statement on foreign policy, Rick Perry told a group of citizens in Hampton, NH, that he favors American military intervention in Mexico.

But the Perry campaign backpedaled from the previous off-the-cuff statement by candidate Perry.

A spokesman attempted to clarify but wasn’t very precise on whether Mexico would have to agree. (“You never know what kind of cooperation you can get when the situation calls for it.â€

I agree. Remember how old McLame started running all those ads about securing the border before elections?!

John McCain, George Bush, and Rick Perry are all cut from the same crafty, globalist imposter threads.

Their 'compassionate conservatism' is what destroyed true Conservatism and eventually empowered Barack Obama to become president.

Perry says it's 'premature' to judge Rupert Murdoch in phone-hacking mess
    http://trailblazersblog.dallasnews.com/ ... to-ju.html

News Corp. Ltd. of Australia gave $1.25 million to the Republican Governors Association in two installments, in June and July of last year, when Perry was the GOP governors' group's national finance chairman.

Gov. Rick Perry says it's too early to judge whether Rupert Murdoch's News Corp.'s contributions to the Republican Governors Association should be returned in light of the phone-hacking scandal that is threatening both Murdoch's News Corp. empire and the government of British Prime Minister David Cameron.

"I think that to judge Mr. Murdoch at this particular point in time is rather premature," Perry said at the Texas Capitol, when asked about contributions to the GOP governors' group of which he's been a top official in recent years.

Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry and embattled media mogul Rupert Murdoch had dinner together in New York City Monday night, CBS News confirmed on Tuesday.

The duo ate at Manhattan's ritzy Post House steakhouse, a few blocks away from Murdoch's Fifth Avenue apartment, the New York Times reported...

…Speaking to reporters in July, Perry brushed off questions about the propriety of Murdoch's contributions to the Republican Governors Association, which Perry headed at the time, calling it "rather premature" to judge him.
