    The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has said he has no problem with an all-party grouping coming together to lobby the case for the illegal Irish immigrants in the US.

    The proposal was made by the Fine Gael leader, Enda Kenny.

    Mr Ahern said much progress has been made on this issue, and the hope is that more can be achieved before summer given that there are mid-term elections in the US in November.

    He said the challenge is to find a way of combining the Senate Bill and the Bremer Bill on illegal immigration.

    The Irish meanwhile continue expelling anyone caught there without any residence and work papers. "Do as we Irish say not as we do".

    And couldn't you just IMAGINE their reaction if it were to be US running to Ireland to get away from the USA. Oh my gosh. They'd be livid that we were taking their jobs and infiltrating their country.

    Turn around and go home Ahearn, and tell your "illegal aliens" that they have one of the highest standards of living in the world back in Ireland.

    Many irish in this country overstay their visas, work 2 jobs to send money back to Ireland to build new houses and go back. They are just here for what they can get and then go back to their country. Deport them
