Phoenix mayoral candidates look to economy, not housing in low-profile contest

The Phoenix mayoral election is less than two weeks away, but you’d hardly know it.

The candidates are still trying to grab voters and media attention in a race that defines low-profile. There’s no big personality, big controversy or big issue for a city that faces all kinds of challenges, including foreclosures, illegal immigration and a tough economy.
