GREELEY, CO (2009-02-1 Last October, Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck seized thousands of tax records from a Greeley accountant under suspicion that some clients were illegal immigrants and filing their taxes under false or phony identities. Today, about 70 of what could be some 1,300 cases of identity theft have been filed in court. As KUNC's Grace Hood reports, the American Civil Liberties Union is challenging the investigation - not the status of illegal immigrants in Colorado.

The Costner family testified before a congressional committee including Gutierrez and Zoe Lofgren (two of the biggest open borders proponents) and told them how their lives were ruined by illegal alien identity thieves. Gutierrez and Lofgren ignored their testimony because they didn't care about that family and were only concerned about illegal alien families being separated because of crimes as these as told to us by Rep Steve King. Gutierrez and Lofgren defended the illegal alien who committed identity theft saying it wasn't a crime as they saw the issue as one of identity theft which they felt should not be prosecuted but in fact was aggravated identity theft which like ANY form of identity theft is a prosecutable class 4 felony). The ACLU has also held the same views by protesting workplace raids and defending illegal aliens arrested for using stolen identities.
