Police discover 17 Asian illegals in La Joya

LA JOYA - Police turned 17 undocumented immigrants believed to be from China over to officals from the U.S. Border Patrol earlier today.

Officers responded to a call just after 8 a.m. about reported suspicious activity near the corner of Ebony Street and Palm Avenue, just blocks south of U.S. Highway 83, police spokesman Officer Joe Cantu said.

When they arrived, police found 15 people believed to be from China who could not speak English nor Spanish, Cantu said.

There were 10 men and five women crowded inside a red Chevrolet Suburban, he said. They appeared to be in their late teens or early 20s, he said.

A witness told police that six others fled the scene before officers arrived. About 11 a.m., a La Joya Police officer spotted two other Asian men walking along the highway, buying a watermelon, Cantu said. Those men were also taken into custody, he said.

All 17 immigrants were turned over to the U.S. Border Patrol for processing, Cantu said.

"These people were in bad shape," Cantu said. "They just looked exhausted."

Ya.....afraid they have a much more harrowing experience to talk about and a much worse "homecomming" when they are deported.

Imagine that, CHINESE who do not speak SPANISH. Isn't it kind or racist to make the assumption that all illegals are hispanic? hmmmm

We state that we are against illegals. I am glad they found these. THEY claim we are racist, but look who is assuming that ALL ILLEGALS SPEAK SPANISH? Why it is the Media of course.

Imagine that, CHINESE who do not speak SPANISH. Isn't it kind or racist to make the assumption that all illegals are hispanic? hmmmm

I could bet big money that the supporters of amnesty don't want these guys here either. They certainly won't be taking it to the streets in their behalf either. I know illegals aren't all Spanish speakers, but they are the only ones the open borders people, bi-lingual supporters and such are fighting for.

They actually want these people to be hidden. The more attention that is given to the fact that illegal alien is a status not a race, the weaker their arguments that opposition is race driven. I maintain that if 100% of illegals were rounded up, you would find a representative from literally every country on earth.
