July 23, 2013 – ICE deports 2 fugitive Mexican murder suspects captured in Los Angeles

Two Mexican nationals, who fled to the United States to avoid prosecution for separate murders in their native country, were turned over to Mexican authorities July 23 following their recent capture in Los Angeles by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers. July 26, 2013 – ICE deports longtime fugitive to Jamaica to face charges

A Jamaican national, wanted in his home country since 1986 on aggravated assault charges, was deported July 25 by ERO officers. Full Story

July 26, 2013 – Man arrested for becoming US citizen by fraud, failing to disclose Bosnian war crimes

A 54-year-old Burlington, Vt., man was arrested by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents July 26 on charges that he obtained his naturalized citizenship through fraud by failing to disclose his prior acts of persecution and crimes committed during the Bosnian conflict. July 24, 2013 – HSI probe leads to indictment of 18th Street gang members linked to drug and weapons trafficking

Ten suspected 18th Street gang members and associates have been indicted on drug and weapons charges in connection with a probe by HSI targeting the gang's involvement in methamphetamine and firearms trafficking in South Los Angeles. Full Story

July 25, 2013 – HSI Tampa, partners bust international investment fraud scheme

An international investment fraud and money laundering scheme with ties to central Florida cheated thousands of people out of a total of nearly $130 million. HSI Tampa, along with partner agencies including the London police, put an end to the massive scam. Full Story

Imperial Valley, Calif. - El Centro Sector Border Patrol enforcement operations have led to the recent arrests, convictions, and successful sentencing of 15 illegal immigrants, all of whom had convictions for a crime.The apprehensions took place earlier this year near the cities of Calexico, El Centro, and Indio, Calif.
