LULAC declares a crisis in education that is hurting Latino youth

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

    The Moscone Center
    747 Howard Street,
    San Francisco, CA 94103

The League of United Latin American Citizens has declared there is a crisis in education and calls for immediate legislative reform to advance the majority Latino population in California’s public education. California legislators and administrators must make changes that will enable Latinos to participate fully in the American Dream. Benny Diaz, LULAC State Director says, “It is high time that students are made a priority and that the curriculum reflect the immediate needs of Latino children for an education that will put a halt to the staggering number of dropouts and incarcerations of Latino youth.â€

Can you imagine what would happen if it said:

The League of American Parents calls for immediate legislative reform to advance the white American population in California's public education.

Despite decades of bending over all we have is minority youth rejecting anything of the white man, including his education. Their propaganda teaches them to hate the white man, the white man's knowledge, the white man's system of government - everything about anybody white is hated and rejected but we are to bend over once again and somehow teach them when they have purposely rejected the teaching they have already been given? No. Change needs to start within the community. Change the attitude. Stop name-calling, targeting and even murdering those who achieve within the current system. Stop the culture of failure based on victimology. I'm not paying for anymore equality on their terms anymore. I'm done.

Ed. funding sources: repeal Prop. 13, tax on oil companies
Prop 13 passed in 1978, setting the value to 1975 prices. A large contributor to Proposition 13 was the sentiment that older Californians should not be priced out of their homes through high taxes.

I don't have words to express my outrage : .

Yes, you are so correct. The main reason for it was older people could not afford their property taxes and had to leave there homes. Leave them alone!

We have adult IAs from around the world arriving with and without kids. Many of whom can't read or write in their own languages. How can any rational person believe it becomes the duty of American taxpayers to educate these people?

There is a crisis in education BECAUSE OF latino students and their illegal parents.
