White House Spox: Trump open to discussing amnesty for illegal aliens well beyond DREAMers

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

President Trump has indicated that he is willing to discuss some sort of solution for illegal aliens who were granted temporary legal status under President Obama’s unilateral (and probably unconstitutional) DACA order. This solution should involve funding for a border wall as well as ending the visa lottery program and chain migration policies, the president has said.

The DACA “solution” is presumed to be some level of legalization for the estimated 750,000 “DREAMers” who applied for the DACA program. Compared to the estimated 11 million illegal aliens in the country, the DACA amnesty is considered a relatively narrow focus in the grand scheme of things.

Appearing on Mornings on the Mall on WMAL in Washington DC Tursday, White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah indicated that the president is now open to discussing additional amnesty for several other classes (if not all classes) of illegal aliens as a bargaining chip for additional immigration reforms.

When asked by host Mary Walter what the White House will be able to negotiate with if they give in to Democrats on DACA, Shah said, “I think Democrats have a whole host of priorities on immigration reform. They want to see legal status for other individuals who have come into this country illegally. And that’s something the president is willing to talk about and willing to discuss.”

Co-host Vince Coglianese jumped right in and asked Shah to clarify this remark. He explained that Rep. Steve King (R-IA) “has been warning that trading DACA amnesty” would “lead to amnesties of any kind to be used as a bargaining chip in every other immigration battle going forward.”

Coglianese asked Shah if he was saying that amnesty for other groups of illegal immigrants is now on the table?

“What I’m saying is that a discussion about these issues is certainly on the table and the president wants to invite that discussion,” Shah confirmed. “You shouldn’t close the door on discussion in the future on other issues.”

“Right now, we have several acute issue that have to be addressed. You can’t have DACA without border security, without visa lottery system reform and without an end to certain chain migration policies, ” Shah reaffirmed.

No, we don't want any more talk about amnesty for any illegal alien.

All we want is for this government that we pay trillions of dollars a year to do their jobs, to stop illegal immigration, deport illegal aliens and reduce legal immigration.

This is a very simple demand from the people of the United States. NO AMNESTY. NO DACA DEAL. Just shut up, walk away and move on to infrastructure.

We'll do what we need to do regarding these matters beyond what we have resources to do now in 2019 after we elect more Republicans to the US Congress so there is no more FOREIGN AGENT AMNESTY BLACKMAIL to protect and defend this nation and protect the lives and jobs of our citizens, workers and taxpayers.

They must be putting something in his 12 daily diet cokes over and above the mind altering sugar substitutes.

A few yrs ago, had a nice authentic Italian made pizza place in the neighborhood. There is nothing like a true Italian made pie - no greek, middle eastern, mexican made crap ingredients they have the nerve to call "pizza".
The woman owner worked the phones, take out orders. Noticed she loved to make a drink with these tubes of artificial sweetener and flavorings added to water. One night, she spazed in the middle of trying to package my order. I knew what was going on, so just reached over & guided my product into the bag. Her eyes glassy, here motor controls went numb, she froze. Unfortunately, the store closed shortly afterwards. There are many articles on the dangers of diet sodas available online, from making you fat to neurological issues, to destroying your gut microbiome.

You have to read the President's tweets to really understand where he's coming from. I get where he's coming from. He's an Executive who wants "RESULTS". He wants the wall, he wants an end to chain migration, elimination of the visa lottery, money for interior enforcement to deport more quickly more illegal aliens, he wants E-verify to protect American Workers, he wants an end to the scams and shams of phony asylum and inappropriate refugee and TPS programs and much much more. And he wants it fast. There's nothing wrong with the President, he's simply trying to get some "RESULTS", the word he used in his tweets on his important campaign promise that he needs Congressional support to achieve but does not have. You can't blame the President for that. He didn't create this problem, he's trying to help US solve it.

The guilty parties are a corrupt Congress, former Presidents and various factions of the Republican Party who want to support these "DACAs", including immigration heroes like Ken Paxton, Texas AG who led the lawsuit against DACA, Governor Abbott of Texas who uses state budgets to try to stop illegal immigration, even Republican AG's from 17 of the 26 states who joined the DACA lawsuit support a legislative fix to DACA.

Even CIS, FAIR and NumbersUSA support this turd soup, so what is a President who wants some "RESULTS" supposed to do? You create a scramble, publicize the whole mess with a big on-camera show and get the base involved to fix it. That's US. It's our job now to kill this amnesty blackmail in the US House of Representatives. These traitors in the Democratic Party are willing to shut down our government by refusing to fund the US government while Americans are suffering from 3 hurricanes and our nation is on the verge of war with North Korea.

Trump thinks like a Quarterback. When you're about to get sacked by your opponents, what do you do? You throw a Hail Mary and hope someone from your team gets that ball and runs with it.

That's US. We're the TEAM. It's unfortunate we have to do all this work, but we do. Every bad name we throw needs to be at the US Congress responsible for this mess. Every threat we utter must be at any member of the US House of Representatives and US Senate putting DACA TURDS in our bill soup. We want this problem solved, and we want it solved without amnesty blackmail. So, they can just pluck those stinking turds out of our soup and deliver our soup the way we want it or don't deliver any soup at all. We'll wait for a new Congress to solve illegal immigration in 2019. It's just a year. After all these years, what's one more? Nothing in the time span of this problem.

Just kill the bill and walk away. Let the American People see for themselves first hand how truly rotten to the core the Democrats are and how they can tempt good Republicans trying to fix our country to submit to amnesty blackmail as a condition to fix our immigration issues. Trump tried to get the wall and interior enforcement a year ago without blackmail, and Democrats refused. He has tried again, and they still refuse.

Illegal aliens gotta go and these rotten Democrats standing in the way of MAGA gotta to go, too.

Trump's thrown his Hail Mary and already moved on to prison reform, Iran nuclear deal, America First at DAVOS, sending nuclear armed stealth bombers to Guam to deal with North Korea and authorizing states to develop work requirements for Medicaid.

We've got the ball, it's our turn to run with it, so kill these amnesty blackmail bills and shut this treason down.

And if anyone wants to accuse me of defending our President, please be advised, I'm just telling you the truth in my opinion of what has to be done and why.
