Real Story Behind Migrant Mother Emerges, Here’s What She Reportedly Wants

The woman seen fleeing tear gas with her children is reportedly not an asylum seeker but an economic migrant hoping to exploit America’s lax immigration laws to obtain a job in the U.S.
Over the weekend, U.S. Border Patrol agents used tear gas to repel a horde of mostly male migrants after they attempted to storm the U.S. southern border near San Diego. Among the migrants had been a woman and her children who were captured on camera fleeing the gas.

The media subsequently seized on this photo to portray President Donald Trump’s administration as cruel.
“Americans are shocked by images from Tijuana, Mexico, on Sunday showing U.S. agents firing tear gas at migrant families, forcing barefoot children in diapers to disperse in pain and terror,” left-wing columnist Dana Milbank kvetched at The Washington Post.
Never mind that the migrants — of whom only a select few are women and children — tried to storm the U.S. southern border and essentially “invade” the United States. Or that thousands more are expected to arrive along the border soon.
According to the left, every migrant deserves immediate and automatic entry into the United States because every migrant is a desperate person just trying to escape the violence of his or her home country.

This certainly appears to be a false narrative. The mother, identified as Maria Meza, told BuzzFeed the real reason she was trying to enter the U.S.
“Maria Meza admitted to BuzzFeed that she is not a political refugee, but merely wants to enter the United States to get a job,” BizPac Review reported Monday:“I hope God will help me enter (the US) with these kids because we’re suffering,” Meza, 39, told BuzzFeed. “I’m a single mother who wants to provide for my children…I’m a mother who needs a job.”
As BizPac Review reported, most of the migrants in the Central American caravan rejected Mexico’s offers of employment and asylum, insisting they want to go to the US.
So basically, almost all the migrants in the various caravans have bogus asylum claims and are not legitimate political refugees. That hasn’t stopped the mainstream media and liberals from panting that the US is being “mean” by not taking them all in.
Asylum fraud is a growing problem in the U.S. Just earlier this month an immigration attorney from New York was found guilty of perpetrating asylum fraud by using lies and false documents to try to gain asylum for her clients.
According to U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement, the attorney “submitted over 100 applications in which she knowingly made false statements and representations about, among other things, the applicants’ personal narratives of alleged persecution, criminal histories, and travel histories.”
Her behavior is similar to that of the media, which has also used “false statements and representations” to garner sympathy for economic migrants like Meza who seek to exploit America’s weak immigration laws to obtain a job inside the U.S.
In the case of Meza, who’s reportedly from Honduras, she was willing to drag her barely clothed children through miles and miles of rough terrain just so she could could get a better job — and this despite already being offered work by the government of Mexico.
