President Trump has proposed a deal that includes $5.7 billion for a border wall and gives three years of "legislative relief" for some 700,000 DACA recipients and a three-year extension of temporary protected status for some 300,000 facing expiration.

It appears dems have rejected the deal and now trump can say the shutdown is their fault. I suspect that was his plan.

I really think it was to shut up and shut down the Lindsey Graham crowd. It might pass the Senate but it will die in the House. I'm not even sure it will pass the Senate if Mitch brought it to a vote. I don't see Schumer allowing it.

Get our military down there and get that barrier built. Turn them all away. Process them and put them on barges and let the Navy and Coast Guard ship them back.
