Rep. Luis Gutierrez warns Obama, wants him to grant amnesty now

On Tuesday, Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) was arrested along with others protesting the continued deportation of illegal aliens by the Obama administration.

Gutierrez is once again, pushing the DREAM Act which has failed to pass Congress several times over the last decade.

Fed-up with the American people’s continued rejection of the legislation which would grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, the Illinois Congressman wants Obama to use his executive powers to simply sign the DREAM Act into law.

Gutierrez issued the following statement: “The President says Republicans are blocking immigration reform and he's right, but it doesn't get him off the hook. Everyone knows he has the power to stop deporting DREAMers and others with deep roots in the U.S. and we think he should use it.â€

Ooo, what a threat, illegals will not vote on election day.

If Luis would read the newspapers, other than the LaRaza Daily News, he would realize that Obama's Director of ICE, has already issued a memo making the Dream Act effective by executive decree.

Let me get inside the head of a Gutierrez supporter for a moment.

The undocumented make much better clients for a political patronage machine than you ever could. Luis Vicente Gutierrez wants people who take a followers role and allows him to be respected as a good padron. Those who America should be defenders of are those who understand how the game is played. The undocumented are merely people who because of the stubborn cruelty of the nativists are missing a sheet of paper.

This publicity stunt is only the latest effort by Rep. Gutierrez on behalf of this nation’s illegal alien population.

Is Luis up for re election in 2012? If they ever actually enforce the voting laws and protect the integrity of the ballot box, I doubt that he would make the cut.

These supporters and enablers want the rest of us to believe the lie that ILLEGAL ALIENS have the same rights as Black Americans do and are trying to replicate the Civil Rights Movement for illegal aliens who broke the law to get here in the first place.

What other laws is Rep. Luis Guiterrez guilty of breaking?

U.S. Immigration Law

The U.S. immigration laws require deportation of an illegal alien if the alien:

1. has been convicted of an aggravated felony
2. has not resided in the United States for a contiguous period of seven years
3. was not a lawful permanent resident for a contiguous period of five years
4. would not have been admissible to the United States on security grounds

This applies to the majority of illegal aliens found in gangs. In order to prove evidence of residence lawfully, they would need to show a visa or other federal document allowing their entry into the United States or an approved application for permanent residence in the United States. Few if any illegal aliens have such documents and only a handful of gang members.

Section 274 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, USC 1324 states:

A person (including a group of persons, business, organization, or local government) commits a federal felony when she or he:

* assists an alien s/he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him or her to obtain employment, or

* encourages that alien to remain in the U.S. by referring him or her to an employer or by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way, or

* knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.

City Sanctuary regulations circumvent the law by adopting a don't ask, don't tell policy. A police officer who follows the city regulation to not question a person who he or she suspects is an illegal alien due to probable cause (as in was witness to a previous arrest and subsequent disclosure of illegal alien status or deportation) has placed the officer in violation of Federal Law, and thus that city regulation conflicts with U.S. Immigration law.

It is the responsibility of the U.S. Attorney General, when notified of an entity acting in contravention of U.S. law, to investigate and if necessary bring such organizations before a federal grand jury for possible indictment.

Failure of the U.S. Attorney General to do so, is in of itself, a felony.

I believe so -2012. I looked at his wikipedia entry and it looks like he never had much competition. I'm pretty sure I read he was in one of the gerrymandered districts. God forbid, we may be stuck with him. At one time he actually said he was going to retire but then changed his mind.

And he doesn't even live in the district.
