8 Cuban Migrants Come Ashore on Virginia Key

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol said eight migrants came ashore Monday afternoon on Virginia Key.

The migrants were taken into custody at the scene and driven away in U.S. Border Patrol vehicles from the scene.

The group of migrants werer aboard an 18-foot sailboat as they made the three to four day journey across the Straits of Florida.

Border Patrol told NBC 6 that the migrants would be taken to its Dania Beach station for further processing.

Let me be the first to welcome these new future citizens to America. Yep, we're giving citizenship away to any Cuban that can make the short trip from Cuba to the USA undetected! I say let your big toe touch the sand and go collect your green card. Hell, we'll even have one of our BP agent chauffeur services pick you up, free of charge. Hmm, absolutely disgusting!!!
