During a trip to visit the southern border, Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX) revealed that he witnessed the Texas DPS seizing a jet ski, which was used as a vehicle for human trafficking.

"Later that day, I ventured back to the border to meet with troopers and accompanied them on a perimeter ride. While there, I witnessed Texas DPS seize a jet ski that was primarily used as a human trafficking vehicle. I also witnessed a local constable arrest a Chinese National, which proves the point that those coming to the country illegally are not solely children from Central America."

Weber also toured a DPS office and met with DPS officials during his trip.

“It was important that I get a first-hand account of the border without any pretense from third parties,” The number one message that was relayed to us on how the government can help was simple; border patrol and Texas DPS need deterrents and an increased presence,” he wrote about his visit.

Weber indicated that his trip reaffirmed his belief that there was a crisis on the border and that it was time for the government officials to act.

"In light of what I witnessed at the border, it is crystal clear we are being over-run by hundreds of thousands of people continuing to cross the U.S.-Mexico border, overwhelming U.S. resources,” Weber said in a statement.

Texas Rep: DPS Seized Jet Ski Used To Bring Illegal Immigrants Into US

(CBS HOUSTON) –Rep. Randy Weber, T-Rep., says he witnessed the Texas Department of Public Safety seizing a jet ski that has been used as casual transportation for human traffickers, or coyotes, bringing illegal immigrants into the U.S.

Being labeled “jet ski jumpers,” a video from NBC News in June shows a crew of at least three men casually hopping on a jet ski and allegedly crossing the U.S. border without being apprehended.

“It was important that I get a first-hand account of the border without any pretense from third parties,” The number one message that was relayed to us on how the government can help was simple; border patrol and Texas DPS need deterrents and an increased presence,” Weber wrote in his report.

From Weber’s report, published in the Galveston Daily News: “Later that day, I ventured back to the border to meet with troopers and accompanied them on a perimeter ride. While there, I witnessed Texas DPS seize a jet ski that was primarily used as a human trafficking vehicle. I also witnessed a local constable arrest a Chinese National, which proves the point that those coming to the country illegally are not solely children from Central America.”

Weber was joined in McAllen by fellow Congressman Louie Gohmert, R-Tex., Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Tex., radio host Glenn Beck and Dana Loesch, along with several Department of Public Safety officials.

In June, Anzalduas County Park police estimated they see about 12 “jet ski jumpers” cross into the park on a daily basis, with only about 40 percent of them being caught.

Sgt. Dan Broyles told NBC News that his job is difficult comparing it to “digging a hole and throwing the dirt up a hill.” He added that he feels he is “on the front lines of a non-violent invasion,” with an estimated 1,200 people crossing the Rio Grande every day.

Border agents have apprehended more than estimated 52,000 unaccompanied children who have entered the U.S. via Mexico from Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras.

Weber has been a consistently vocal critic of President Obama, taking to Twitter before the president’s January State of The Union address to say he was waiting on the House floor for the “socialistic dictator” to deliver the speech.

“On floor of house waitin on “Kommandant-In-Chef”…the Socialistic dictator who’s been feeding US a line or is it “A-Lying?”

Recently, Weber has used Twitter to push the #SecuretheBorder message to the president, repeatedly posting messages about stopping “the surge” of immigrants flooding into the U.S."

“In light of what I witnessed at the border, it is crystal clear we are being over-run by hundreds of thousands of people continuing to cross the U.S.-Mexico border, overwhelming U.S. resources,” Weber said via statement regarding his border visit.

Wow, it has been crystal clear that the border is over run by aliens for 20 years, and I've never been ti the border.
