AP calls it: Romney wins Ohio.

12:21 a.m. ET

Nearly all the votes are counted in the Ohio presidential primary and Romney now has about an 8,000-vote lead over Santorum.

12:13 a.m. ET

In a big upset, GOP Rep. Jean Schmidt of Ohio has conceded to challenger Brad Wenstrup. An Army combat surgeon, Wenstrup was ahead by six percentage points with nearly all the vote counted.

12:06 a.m. ET

Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio has lost his Democratic primary to Rep. Marcy Kaptur, the Plain Dealer in Cleveland reports. The Kucinich vs. Kaptur race was the big congressional primary in Ohio, and the first of more than a dozen races this year that will pit incumbents against each other because of redistricting.

Kucinich, a former Cleveland mayor, ran twice for the Democratic presidential nomination on an anti-war platform. Kaptur is a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee.
