Rio Grande Valley Agents Once Again Arrest A Convicted Sex Offender

EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents arrest an illegal alien with a previous conviction for sexual assault.
Last night, agents assigned to the Brownsville Border Patrol station, apprehended two subjects illegally entering the United States.
Record checks revealed that one subject, Jose Onesimo Nava, is a registered sex offender with a prior arrest and conviction in San Benito, Texas, for sexual assault. Nava was referred for prosecution.
