Isn't this just ducky. I missed Rick Roberts this morning. I wonder how many other San Diegans know about this?

This is not such a big deal if the opthamologists were having a convention in San Diego they would have an Opthamologists Day.

I forwarded Michelle Malkin's article to everyone I know. This is an outrage. July 8 should be interesting.

i already called and said i didnt like it because as a white american there is no special day like this set aside for ME.

I cannot even believe such a proposed holiday would come to a vote! That's how misguided and out of touch are the so called elected leaders of San Diego are. The leadership of San Diego should be ashamed of themselves!

Tijuana is only twenty minutes south if they love la raza so much. Get in your car and drive without subjecting and degrading the rest of us while you pander to this etho-centric, racists organization.

I guess la raza has their hands in the pockets of every politician out there, and vice versa...

Mayor Sanders will also be addressing the NCLR convention in San Diego the following week along with Mayor Villaraigosa, John McCain, and Barack Obama. You can bet they won't be talking about employer sanctions and law enforcement!


NCLR is a race based, ethno-centric special interest group lobbying for amnesty for 20-30 million illegal Mexican and Hispanic citizens. They advocate illegal and unlawful behavior by foreign aliens. They are considered a hate group by many for their vile hate, lies, and slander towards American citizens and media talk show hosts calling for secure borders and immigration law enforcement.
