Sean Spicer Is Asked the DACA Question at Press Conference Today

Just now a question was posed to Sean Spicer about DACA. It did not seem to be a question from mainstream media in the way it was presented. The questioner said that many were concerned about DACA and his promise to deal with it. The questioner stated that it did not affect those who already received it. Sean Spicer said that President Trump was working on securing the border and dealing with criminals and that DACA would be dealt with. He mentioned Senator Sessions, too.

    There should be video later.

Yes, I saw that, he also said the President wanted his Cabinet approved so the department heads involved could be in place to handle that issue. I would expect that to be Sessions, Mnuchin (Treasury and refunds of application fees maybe required at least in part) and of course Kelly needs a little time to learn the systems, mechanisms, how to send notices, letters and so forth. I think this USCIS may be rotten to its core. I really do. They keep all those fees to pay themselves. That has to change immediately.

Sean Spicer also was asked about wide spread voter fraud. The Press Secretary said that President Trump believes that millions of people voted illegally. CNN found their freak out comment to display across the screen for today. At least for the moment.

The media want him to prove it, maybe an investigation. CNN goes hunting and found Senator Lindsey Graham, eager to give a tongue lashing to the President. Next was Tim Kaine, Clinton's VP running mate. Paul Ryan was included as a doubter.

Political Contributor says it is a dark day, just crazy. Conspiracy. Drama.

LOL!! I saw that!! He's brought that up the other night when he met with the legislative leaders to remind them all that illegal immigration results in illegal voting and is a political reason why they should be deported. At least that's what I think. There is a reason why Trump says or does anything. It's all planned and calculated. They have met their match here. American Citizens back home don't want to support politicians who don't care about illegal aliens voting in US elections cancelling out their vote.

Yes, it was "breaking news" last night. From an "anonymous source" which someone later slipped and called a "Democrat" from a private gathering of lawmaking leaders, having a "light-hearted" evening and Trump even served them dinner. Schumer said they had Meatballs.

    More "breaking news".

Trump is going to turn the MSM into a DC Society Column. They'll be writing and commenting about food, gossip, furniture and fashion. Things they understand.

Check out USA Today's big news story:

Trump's first proclamation lacks the humility of his predecessors'

    Gregory Korte , USA TODAY Published 7:57 a.m. ET Jan. 24, 2017 | Updated 44 minutes ago

WASHINGTON — Buried under a stack of presidential paperwork President Trump signed shortly after his inauguration was his first official proclamation, declaring last Friday a "National Day of Patriotic Devotion."

But by the time anyone found out about it, it was already over.

Trump proclaimed the day to honor his own inauguration, proclaiming a "new national pride" that would "strengthen our bonds to each other and to our country."

But the White House never released the proclamation until it arrived Monday at the Office of the Federal Register, where it was scheduled to be published Tuesday.

The proclamation continues a tradition that began with President George H.W. Bush in 1989 and followed by every president since. The one-page proclamations read like mini-inaugural addresses, and can set a rhetorical tone for the entire presidency.

And Trump's tone is distinctly different from his predecessors, said Brandon Rottinghaus, a University of Houston professor who studies presidential proclamations.

Trump's proclamation "is missing the personal humility" seen in the previous proclamations, he said. Instead, it strikes a more nationalistic note.
"A new national pride stirs the American soul and inspires the American heart. We are one people, united by a common destiny and a shared purpose," Trump's proclamation said. "There are no greater people than the American citizenry, and as long as we believe in ourselves, and our country, there is nothing we cannot accomplish."

Trump's "National Day of Patriotic Devotion" is the first inaugural proclamation that doesn't explicitly invoke God — although it speaks of "sacred values" and prayers for peace — or quote previous great Americans like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln or Martin Luther King, Jr.

Bush, for example, proclaimed a "National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving" in his 1989 inaugural proclamation. "I am humbled before God and seek his counsel and favor on our land," he said.

"These proclamations trend towards humble and gracious language as new presidents struggle with the enormity of the task in front of them," Rottinghaus said. "There is an awestruck tone to most of these first proclamations as incoming presidents acknowledge they are fallible and burdened with a great responsibility."

For Bill Clinton, the proclamations declared a "National Day of Fellowship and Hope" in 1993, and a "National Day of Hope and Renewal" in 1997. George W. Bush returned to his father's "National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving" in 2001. And for President Obama, the days were known as the "National Day of Reconciliation and Renewal" in 2009 and the "National Day of Hope and Resolve" in 2013.

LOL!!! It was their most viewed story, number 2 on Google Search for "Trump in the news".

I just want to know when did all the other Proclamations "arrive"? Before or after they were signed? Before or after the President was inaugurated?? They try to make a news story out of a normal event that's been occurring for 29 years as "news". It's more FAKE NEWS. This was not news, it was a part of Inauguration tradition since 1989.

    So funny!!

Dip a finger in purple ink, papr ballot too, ability to get a receipt, some form of proof that you voted, no drivers licenses to illegal aliens, clean up voter rolls deceased, etc, identification required.

Yes, the key to the illegal voting is making sure they are US citizens with the right to vote in the first place. I think E-verify could do this for everyone whose driver's license isn't traced back to a birth certificate when they turned 16.

Wednesday- Press Secretary Sean Spicer was asked this question again today by Telemundo. Sean said that the President has a big heart, he is a family man, still working on what to do about illegal aliens brought here as children.

    **************

I don't understand how you can give a small group of illegal aliens amnesty but not family members who would then be subject to deportation. You would be separating families. And what about the other illegal aliens who have not yet applied for DACA but who would be eligible?

Any amnesty for illegal aliens is a direct slap in the face to the American people who have demanded illegal immigration be ended for decades.
