EL PASO, Texas -- Border Patrol agents arrested a 19-year-old man wanted for murder in Colorado.

On Monday evening, agents spotted two men illegally entering the railroad yards in downtown El Paso, Customs and Border Protection officials said. The agents apprehended the men, who were both Mexican nationals.

After running their names through a database, agents found 19-year-old Bobby Martinez is wanted by the Alamosa County Sheriff's Office in Colorado for homicide. The other man, 24-year-old Michael Pinon, is wanted in Colorado for parole violation, CBP officials said.

Both allegedly admitted during questioning they had entered illegally to avoid identification at the international ports of entry.

The two men were turned over to the custody of El Paso police and are facing extradition.
