Seven accused of making fake IDs
From Staff Reports
A federal grand jury indicted seven men who they think ran a sophisticated counterfeit identification ring, prosecutors said Thursday.
Indicted were: Alejandro "Yuca" Izalde-Petris, 32; Juan Jose "Chino" Paz-Mireles, 28; Edgar Hugo "Frodo" Campos-Escalante, 27; Santiago Casmiro "Konan" Lopez, 29; Carlos "Chicara" Olade-Espindola, 19; Fernando "Lag" Munoz-Rosas, 33; and Luis Manuel Gonzalez-Medina, 22, according to the indictment. All are charged with conspiring to produce and transfer false identification documents, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
The men are accused of making fake driver's licenses and Social Security cards for recent immigrants.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
