Channel 4 news video aimed the man shot was a migrant worker which means illegal. The Miami Herald does not say that. Also why did an illegal have possession of a gun? Unless the son is 21 and an anchor baby and owned the weapon then it is illegal. In Immokalee there are illegals that are arrested for illegal gun possession at least once a month if not month and a half. I have noticed that since I have been following Collier County daily arrests. This is just another fact the media does not want to report.

One man was in critical condition on Tuesday night after he was shot in southMiami-Dade County, according to Miami-Dade police.

The man was one of about five men inside a home in the 14100 block of Southwest 282 Street, police spokesman Detective Roy Rutland said, when two men burst inside the home.

At least one intruder was armed, and they ordered the men inside to put their hands up, Rutland said.

But moments later, the man got into a struggle with one of the intruders and was shot, Rutland said. The bullet appeared to strike him in the face or neck.

Meanwhile, the man's son grabbed a gun from the home and fired at the intruders, who rushed out of the home.

The son then got his dad in a car and took him to Homestead Hospital, Rutland said. He later was taken by air to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was in critical condition.
