"What would be the best present to the American people is pictures of concrete being poured" for the fence, Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-CO, said. "This is a good thing."

The House of Representatives "approved the construction of a fence along the US-Mexican border," according to AP. "The fencing would total 700 miles and priority for construction would be near Laredo, Texas. The city is across the border from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, where warring drug cartels have been blamed for more than 140 murders this year."

That’s patriotic news for the law-abiding in the US. The sooner, higher the better for those of us who are rightfully concerned about the downslide of America.

Criminals and criminal-wannabes have flooded into our country. Local law officials cannot track them down soon enough to arrest them. It’s not fair to the locals.

Some criminals and criminal-wannabes are caught and then told to report later for an appointment at some government office. Anyone who knows the criminal mind knows that reporting later means hiking out for the hills or Manhattan, not reporting later to a government official. Therefore, this "catch and release" bit has proven so stupid that it is painful to type its definition.

A 14-mile fence has already been erected in the Mexico - San Diego area. It has cut down on free loaders illegals. Then stretch that fence all the way across.

Add to the border controls. Flush out businesses hiring illegals. Deport illegals as soon as they are identified. Fine employers who hire the illegals. Deny citizenship to children born in the US to illegals. Cut through this insanity with common sense simplicity.

There are 11 million illegals in America.

Rep. Nathan Deal, R-GA, states reality: birthright citizenship does not belong to illegals. It belongs to US citizens and permanent legals. That’s backed by the 14th Amendment. Then keep to the law, Congressmembers. Keep to the law.

Ten percent of children born now in the US are illegals. That totals 400,000 per year! That’s too frightening to type.

Back to the fence: It was 260 to 159 in the House for the fence in CA, AZ, NM and TX.

"Also Thursday, House members approved on a voice vote an amendment requiring Border Patrol uniforms to be made in the United States. Rep. Rick Renzi, R-Ariz., said they are now made in Mexico, possibly posing security problems.

"’Secure borders are now a matter of national security,’ said Rep. Phil Gingrey, R-Ga."

Yes. There are Muslim murderers global among that illegal number. They are in the sleeper cells. They are hired by our employers. They are signed up as students in universities but they never show for classes. They are in our neighborhoods. They are bolstering their mosque clerics’ secret meetings for America’s overthrow. They are manning the 4000 Muslim hate web sites.

As to the White House’s temporary worker program, forget it.
