Jesus Ruiz is a single father of three from Mexico who has traveled to the St. Andrew's Children's Clinic in Nogales, Arizona for the last five years to get medical help for his kids.



SPOKANE -- Each first Thursday of the month droves of families from Mexico cross the border in Nogales, Arizona seeking the services of volunteer doctors and nurses at St. Andrews children's clinic, just a few miles north of the border.


This is the story of one of those families.


Jesus Ruiz is a single father of three and machine operator in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. A proud man, his family has been making this trip for the past five years.
