Illegal alien caught with forged documents during traffic stop

Sioux Falls Police turned a traffic stop into an illegal immigration investigation.
A man was stopped for driving 28 mph in a 35 mph zone near the corner of W. 41st St. and S. Jefferson Ave. Police say the man produced numerous documents including one California ID, one permanent resident car, two social security cards. All the names on those documents were different than the name he gave police.
The man was arrested and charged for possession of a forged instrument with intent to defraud. In the course of the investigation he admitted to being in the country illegally.
The investigation was handed over to Immigrant Social Services. Sioux Falls Police never received a legitimate name or date of birth from the suspect.
