Thread: Southwest Key Programs Federally Funded! Conroe, Texas Lacks Transparency

There are two major players in the immigration game. One is GEO Corp. (Joe Corley Unit) which houses the adult illegals. The other is Southwest Key Programs (SWP) which houses the 10-17 year old offenders. Here in Montgomery County, Texas, we have recently found out about their activities and the lack of transparency with local and county government and their neighbors in general. SWP is leasing a 37 acre property which we are trying to get more information on them and have documented expansion in recent months. People who live near the facility had no idea what is going on there, and thought it was some sort of manufacturing plant.


We are working to follow the money where SWP is concerned and have found the following information:



Southwest Key Programs states the following in the "Philosophy" section of their website:


"...Southwest Key Programs is a nationally accredited nonprofit organization funded primarily by PRIVATE grants and government contracts." http://www.swkey.org/about/philosophy/


But wait! Their mission statement says something a bit different:


"...Funding: GRANTS and contracts by U.S. federal, state, and local government, foundations, and corporations; special events; private contributions" http://www.swkey.org/about/overview/


Well, the truth of the matter is that AMERICAN CITIZENS are supporting these facilities and the harboring of illegal alien unaccompanied minors through their tax dollars. Over the past 4 years, we have found over $123,000,000 in grant monies issued to Southwest Key Programs and these are just the "Unaccompanied Alien Children" grants. There are more grants out there like the National School Lunch Program and others.

Program Source Descriptions, where applicable


In 2013 alone, the federal government issued over $70,000,000 in grant monies to fund Southwest Key Program's budget. Here is a statement concerning their current budgetary needs:


"...With an increased demand for our services, Southwest Key continues to expand and diversify funding in 2014. Our budget grew to over $150 million with a number of new programs and shelters opening across the country to serve over 225,000 children and families in 2013."


Again, we have conflicting statements concerning how they are funded:"...Southwest Key Programs manages more than 40 budgets with dozens of funding sources including FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL AGENCIES, private foundation grants, and corporation grants. Collectively, these budgets accounted for an operating budget of more than $65 million in 2011.” http://www.swkey.org/about/annual_report_financials/


Folks, personally, I am not willing to pay for illegals to be harbored and integrated into our society. As a parent, I cannot believe someone would just give up and PAY for their children to make the journey through Mexico without some sort of coercion. This influx of unaccompanied minors, gang members, and others in the criminal element is nothing less than an all-out attack on our country, economy, and overall way of life. This has been a well-orchestrated and devious plot against our society. The powers to be behind all of this knew that they could play off our sense of humanity and compassion towards these people and that is how they could win this silent war.



When a facility is “implemented” in a community and no one in city or county government is aware of what they are doing (Montgomery County, Texas is just one example); when a facility allows a government agency to import these illegals under the cover of darkness and secrecy; when the facility removes any signage that might identify who they are; you have an issue of transparency. There is a reason for this lack of transparency...they DON’T want you to know what they are doing in YOUR backyard.



This issue goes much darker and deeper than any of us could imagine. If "We the People" don't stop these actions from taking place on a local level, we will be overrun in a very short period of time. Our economy can and will collapse. We cannot afford social welfare for an entire country when we can't even take care of our own.


If one wants to LEGALLY immigrate to our country for reasons of asylum or refuge, then let them do it the right way. Allow them the opportunity to assimilate to our way of life, our language, and our laws. But to force one's self onto another country by way of tearing down borders is unacceptable on all levels.
