COLUMBIA -- South Carolina's tough new immigration law has not only already damaged the country's reputation with other nations but could also endanger U.S. citizens as they travel abroad, according to a top-ranking U.S. State Department official.
“Act No. 69 undermines the diverse immigration administration and enforcement tools made available to federal authorities and establishes a distinct state-specific immigration policy, driven by an individual state's own policy choices, which clashes with U.S. foreign affairs priorities, risks significant harassment of foreign nationals, and has the potential to harm a wide range of delicate U.S. foreign relations interests,â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Bank robbery is a Federal offense....so....following this logic....states cannot arrest someone for bank robbery cause that is a Federal offence and states cannot "Help" the Feds???????????

Good grief Charlie Brown. Just follow existing immigration laws. Why do these people have to make a mountain out of a mole hill? Doesn't anyone have a brain anymore? Illegals are illegals and don't belong here.

illegals must be deported
Well the State Department must do what Americans want. We do not support illegal aliens. And illegal aliens must be deported. Each state must implement their own immigration laws because Obama does not want to deport all illegal aliens. Deport all illegal aliens now. Obama and the State department must do what we want: enforce current immigration laws and deport all illegal aliens.

"the law's severity risks antagonizing governments." So those government do not want us to enforce our immigration laws? Give me a break!! Tell those governments that here we enforce our laws. And those governments must keep their citizens in their countries. Those citizens must not be here in the United States illegally. Tell those govenments we do not want their citizens (illegal aliens). Period. Problem solved.

One man's terrorist is another man's undocumented worker.
Unless we enforce laws against illegal aliens today,
tomorrow WE may wake up as illegals.
The last word: illegal aliens are ILLEGAL!
