BRISTOL, Tenn. (WSET) – Authorities say two illegal immigrants were arrested Saturday, July 6 after they stole more than $8,000 from an ATM in Bristol, Tennessee on July 5, before they returned to the same ATM Saturday morning, according to WCYB.

The Bristol Tennessee Police Department said they received a call from security personnel with the Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union who said several different cards were used at the Bristol, Tennessee, branch to withdraw large amounts of cash from the ATM and that the same people were back the morning of July 6 and withdrawing more cash.

Officers responded to the branch Saturday morning and found a white Mazda CX-5 SUV parked at the ATM. Authorities said the SUV pulled away from the ATM and went southbound on Bluff City Highway.

The officers then conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified Viktor Frana and Ambroz Bojan.

Police then searched the vehicle and found 150 plastic prepaid/gift cards, a plastic bottle stuffed with ATM receipts and a black nylon bag that had $8,164 in cash in it, WCYB reports.
