Steve King Denounces 'Creeping Effort' to Push 'Irrational' Amnesty This Year

On Saturday, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) denounced the "creeping effort" in Congress to pass what he said was an "illogical" and "irrational" "comprehensive amnesty" bill this year.

Appearing on Breitbart News Saturday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125 with Breitbart News Executive Chairman and host Stephen K. Bannon, King said Republicans and Democrats are "looking for some kind of opening" to grant amnesty to "some sympathetic group," which would then allow them to keep broadening categories until all of the country's illegal immigrants are given amnesty.

King cited the ENLIST Act that would have given citizenship to illegal immigrant DREAMers who join the military as one such example. House Republicans ultimately decided not to include that amendment in a Defense Authorization bill after intense pressure from conservatives and veterans.

He told Bannon at the Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans that the White House is pushing for amnesty because it is an issue that divides Republicans and unites Democrats.

Though there is no data that shows that Mitt Romney lost the 2012 presidential election because Republicans did not support amnesty, the Republican establishment, King said, is joining the White House on amnesty because they are being influenced by multi-billionaires who have been "so sucked up into the culture of the good old boys that they can't think any longer."

King singled out Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg, who has run attack ads against King, as well as George Soros, Michael Bloomberg, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and "the Google moguls" as having "a vested interest" in getting amnesty legislation passed, despite, as the Congressional Budget Office determined, it would lower the wages of American workers.

King said amnesty "goes against the middle class and lower class" in America and said the only people who do not benefit from the "ridiculous economic proposition" would be American citizens, especially low-skilled workers.

If amnesty passes, King warned that "we will not restore the rule of law within the lifetime of this republic."

And if the republic cannot restore its rule of law, King said America's "destiny collapses" because "an exceptional pillar of American exceptionalism is the rule of law."

Patriots, pro American politicians, keep using exposing how the billionaires, Zuckerberg, Silicon Valley, the Chamber of Commerce are trying to shove amnesty for illegal aliens from the top down upon the common American people. Keep exposing how the Democrat Party, (the supposed party of the “little guy”) is engaged in politically opportunistic, platonic fornication with the mega rich. Expose how Obama and his junta are intentionally sabotaging the “little guy” by pushing amnesty BECAUSE THE MEGA RICH WANT IT. Patriots, this should be our constant theme: The Democrat Party has made itself into a partyof the rich, by the rich and for the rich. Repeat this over and over wherever and whenever you can until people remember it. Turn the Democrat’s class warfare propaganda against them by exposing their hypocrisy when they push for amnesty for illegal aliens. Don’t let them get away with the biggest lie of all,

I agree with King's comments, wish he were never a part of the established party of the USA, the the combined Republicrats. I will not dismiss my principles to favor anyone that has participated as one of the two parties. Tempted, but I must be true to self!

Kevinssdad , do you realize that if Steve King did not get elected as a Republican he would not be there in the Congress to fight against the establishment of the GOP? You do realize he would not be in any political office and have no audience for his message of stopping amnesty?

Apparently you are saying that although Steve King says and does the right things you will not support him only because he is a Republican. What is that supposed to accomplish? I am sure you are honest and sincere, but I will not be seeking your advice about political strategy.

Steven King has proven himself to be an honest and tough fighter against amnesty and every patriot should give him all of the support we are able to provide.

It may be time to promote a third party as a real alternate the Democrat/RINO cabal, but that does not necessitate withholding support from the tiny few friends we have in the GOP. A third party could play the role of spoiler and swing voters, to endorse and elect true conservative Republicans or split the GOP vote and defeat RINOs. The GOP establishment has been using that strategy against real conservatives for a long time and they are long over due for a little pay back.

But not supporting a really good patriot like SteveKing? Sorry, but that is a really bad idea.
