Study: 137,000 Criminals Deported So Far in 2010

PHOENIX - A new study is showing the U.S.-Mexico border is more secure as ever. A study from Syracuse University shows a record number of criminal aliens have been deported this year, based on information from Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

In the first 9 months of 2010, 137,000 illegal aliens, who have been classified as criminals, were deported.

That's 60 percent more than in 2008, and 37 percent more than in 2009. Some analysts say the numbers show that the Obama administration is tougher on illegal immigration than the Bush administration.

A criminal alien is someone who has committed a crime while being in the U.S. The crime can range from a traffic violation to serious crimes like murder.

Leaving 27,863,000 illegals to do as they please! They should be deporting 137K a MONTH

This is a false illusion that Obama is tougher on illegal Immigration than Bush because Obama only deports those illegals AFTER they have been convicted of other crimes, and ignores all the other illegals who are just here illegally and have been lucky enough to not be caught yet for their numerous crimes. Bush on the other hand rounded up average illegals in mass BEFORE they can commit crimes.

Would put on the homepage if it were all true.
