CtheLight: I checked some of my make up and found out that Lancome products are made in the U.S.A., Channel and Dior are made in France and Biotherm is made in Monacco. Nutregena moisturizer is made in the U.S.A. Many items only say made for whoever or distrbuted by Procotor and Gamble and that makes me nervous.

I saw the same in my closet. The county t shirt I have that has a badge on it and says Gang Resistance Education and Training Staff was made in El Salvador the same country where MS 13 originated. I will have to let the department know. Propper SWAT pants are made in the Dominican Republic.

Go to www.americaneconomicalert.com you will find many factories that are going to close, plus they have a couple of items you can sign to stop outsourcing, CAFTA etc.

I read several stories this past Christmas about people having their mini lights catch on fire...one burned down the house.

I learned that the Chinese put fake UL labels on their products.....I am so afraid of anything electrical from China now.

Now Ford and GM are going to put Chinese made auto parts in their new cars.

    I look for many recalls!

Canada has the same problem with jobs going elsewhere. My hometown was a manufacturing/university town. Most manufacturing jobs are gone. There were many tire plants and they are all gone. Autoparts producers have drastically cut staff and some had to give up pension plans in order to keep their jobs. Lazy Boy closed their plant and jobs went to one of the Carolinas which is good for them if the employees they hire are legal. Now the only jobs that are left are in the service industry and they don't pay well and some high tech jobs. Once RIM who makes the blackbery, black jack etc., decides to move production to Asian. It will be a disaster.
