The ACLU announced on Monday that it has now officially filed a federal lawsuit to deny Arizona the right to defend itself against this perpetual invasion of illegal immigrants.
The basis: The "prohibition on unreasonable seizures under the 14th and 4th Amendments."
But as the Washington Examiner explains, the Supreme Court has already ruled unanimously that questioning a suspect's immigration status is perfectly constitutional...and six of the justices that issued that ruling still remain on the bench today.
Furthermore, as I have noted before, Arizona's decision to start enforcing existing immigration laws at the state level in no way changes what is expected of immigrants (see here and here).
As usual, the ACLU's partisan, Constitution-shredding crusade against America has absolutely zero basis in reality.
