Bail kept at $250G in burglary case

A Superior Court judge kept the bail at $250,000 Wednesday for an alleged member of the violent MS-13 street gang accused of a string of burglaries in Princeton Borough and Princeton Township.
Saul Palma-Chajon, 22, of Birch Avenue in Princeton Township was arrested Friday after police observed some men acting suspiciously and followed them as they allegedly "cased" several homes. After the men were arrested, one confessed and led police to a cache where they found four stolen laptop computers, electronic equipment, stolen gem stones and gold jewelry, Assistant Prosecutor Jeffrey Rubin said.
Judge Gerald Council asked if Palma-Chajon, who apparently is not an American citizen, had been reported to federal immigration authorities.
"If the Trenton Times is correct that's already been done by Princeton police," Rubin said. "But I'll double-check."

I expect that New Jersey Judges still have some shell shock over the infamous murders by an illegal immigrant who was out on bail. Good for them that they are learning from their mistakes.
