Donald Trump said Germany will never be the same again after mass migration

The Republican presidential frontrunner said Germany has been brought to its knees after agreeing to become a safe haven for all refugees – before quickly closing its borders.

Speaking on US radio Breitbart News Daily, Mr Trump said: “I think for Merkel to have allowed millions of people into Germany… and Germany is totally destabilised now.

“I don’t believe it’ll ever be the same, maybe in 200 years but it’ll never be the same and Germany of all countries, I cannot believe they allowed this to happen.”

Trump waded into European politics as Belgian justice minister Koen Geens said Christianity will be outnumbered by Muslims “very soon”.

The new annual report from think-tank the Expert Council of German Foundations on Integration and Migration (SVR) said Germany has become “demographically a multi-religious country” because of the movement of Muslims from North Africa and the Middle East.

Speaking of the arrival of refugees in the US, Mr Trump said: “We have migrants coming over here by the thousands, by the tens of thousands, and they’re putting them in different parts of the country and we know nothing about them, where they come from and who they are and it’s a terrible situation.

You look at those lines of migration there are so many young, strong men on those lines. Could be ISIS.”

There has been much concern expressed by European leaders that ISIS militants are taking advantage of the migrant crisis to sneak into Europe while posing as refugees.
