Sheriff Joe Arpaio's illegal-immigration enforcement efforts in Maricopa County have been spearheaded by Kansas attorney Kris Kobach since late 2009.

Kobach, who helped craft Arizona's controversial immigration law, produced a training video for Arpaio's deputies in early 2010 that touches on controversial topics related to illegal-immigration enforcement, including what police need to have "reasonable suspicion" and the authority of local police to enforce federal immigration laws.

Maybe I will watch later.

However, I know a 70 year old brown citizen who has been pulled over weekly for driving while brown all of his life. He cannot believe that the police do not have something better to do. He supports SB 1070 wholeheartedly but he has decided that if he EVER EVER gets pulled over again for DWB that he is going to get his. I am sure that there are many citizens who feel the same way. Hiring a token minority officer to do the targeting does not make it any better.

So please let them get this right.

Its summer and I work outside in the sun all day, I fear now I will be profiled for DWB,WWB,JWB,SWB or oh lord EWB. Cursed law, and to think I rallied for it, and proudly voted for it. Sheez. What was I thinking? I may be deported back to South bend Indiana and its to cold there in the winter. Help me Raza Help me ACLU.
