TN-ICE to inspect employment records
ICE to inspect employment records
March 3, 2010
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced Tuesday that it sent employment records inspection notices to 180 businesses in Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
The federal immigration law enforcement agency will inspect the hiring records of each business to determine if it is complying with employment law.
ICE will review records of 30 businesses in Tennessee.
The federal agency declined to release the names and locations of the businesses in question because of the "law enforcement sensitive" nature of the audits.

Other states, including mine, need to get ready for these illegals to be on the run to states with LAX laws for illegals.

Agreed Worried. North Carolina had an illegal problem 10 years ago. And you can bet the Tennessee investigation will not include East TN. There has been nothing in the area news papers about illegal immigration since last year. I emailed my county sheriff for info/stats on illegal arrests, and he ignored me.; most likely because he is running unopposed for re-election this year. I would like to connect with voters in this area who are concerned about these issues.
