VIDEO FOR PART I AT THE LINK. PART II IS BELOW.
Tyler, TX (KETK) Linda Vickers has found hundreds of illegal immigrants on her own property in Falfurrias, Texas. District Six State Representative Matt Schaefer has taken a special interest in her story. He traveled to her ranch, where she has encountered gang members, bodies and people trying to set her property on fire. These trespassers are illegal immigrants coming across the border, onto her land.
"Since 2012 to now... we've reported 561 illegal aliens. That's just myself and these dogs helping me," said Vickers.
Border Patrol has apprehended 400 of those reported by Vickers.
"She doesn't mow the yard without a cell phone and a pistol, and that's because they don't feel safe," said Schaefer.
Vickers said she has seen up to 20 immigrants on her property at one time. She said the experience can be chilling.
"Often the Vickers will find... and their neighbors will find... a body out in the brush," said Schaefer. "Sometimes they'll find someone who has had their hands tied behind their back and left to die."
Mr. Vickers has an office full of photos that show bodies found on their property.
Nearby, they've also found a rape tree in Brooks County. They are trees that mark sexual assaults. A victim's undergarment is hung on the branches.
Vickers reported five illegals on her property in January and February. Those numbers have gone down from previous years.
"The criminal element is higher in these groups now because, like I said, that's the only way they can get back into the United States," said Vickers.
Schaefer said this is also a problem for East Texas.
"These drugs and this human trafficking, it gets onto the I-20, on the major roads in East Texas. It's here. It's in our community," said Schaefer.
He said it is affecting our schools, health care system and our families.
See how Vickers has taken action to protect herself and her home in

With TX carrying the water for the feds, this lady's sense of security has improved. If the feds added as much to the effort, probably border security in TX could be achieved.
I told GWB he could go to war anywhere if he went to war in Mexico first. He did not listen. Now our problem at our southern border has become very much worse, and we have Iraq to re-build. (If you knock down a man's fence, you replace it. We have to stay if we are a credible nation until they are whole. Our guy did it with no credible reason.) We spent a trillion there, how much security might that have bought for Americans. I learned never to vote for a C student regardless of party!
