Thread: Dave Agema says Donald Trump right about immigration, Islam

As Gov. Rick Snyder and some other GOP leaders criticized Donald Trump's call to freeze Muslim immigration, Republican National Committeeman Dave Agema thinks the party's presidential frontrunner is right on.

Agema suggested that Trump's take is proving that people agree with efforts to combat radical Islam, like his ill-fated state bill to check immigration papers at traffic stops. And Agema posted to Facebook that Americans face an economic and security risk from more Muslims entering the country.

"For several years I have pushed to stop illegal immigration and have warned about radical Islam to no avail," Agema said via text. "Presently, however, it's front and center whereas before our leaders were afraid of political correctness and getting votes.

"Trump proves people are hearing what they've been thinking and many agree with him. I'm glad he's in the race to bring those issues forward. These are security issues."

I had a interesting chat with my christian friend Kamal Saleem this Thursday. He is a former Muslim Brotherhood member who speaks boldly against the coming tide of Islam. I asked him what he thought of Trump's idea of stopping all Muslim refugees. His answer was a definite 190% "yes." He stated we are yielding via Obama's policies to exactly what radical Muslims want. It must be stopped. Too many Muslims and too few christians are being allowed in by Obama's design.

Trump is scheduled to hold a 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, rally at The DeltaPlex outside Grand Rapids. Agema said has not endorsed any of the Republican presidential candidates, although he favors Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum and Trump.

"I will support who wins," Agema said via text. "Hillary (Clinton) will be yet another disaster for our republic if she should win.

"I didn't spend 26 years of my life as a fighter pilot and military officer to defend Socialism. I was trained to fight it."

That's wonderful to hear Agema stand up for Trump's position. Hopefully more will b stepping out and standing up for what is right to protect our country.
