LAREDO, Texas - Border Patrol agents arrested over 20 undocumented immigrants that ran from a truck they were riding in.

Agents saw a gold truck on highway 359 near Hebbronville, Texas August 3 with a registration that didn’t match the truck’s description. With assistance from the Duval County Sheriff’s office and air support agents attempted to pull over the truck when it suddenly veered off the road, driving though a gate, where everyone ran off.

Agents found 22 undocumented immigrants in the area and some that were huddled together in the bed of the truck. Officials said the immigrants were from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador and India.

The vehicle was turned over to the Duval County Sheriff’s Office after deputies found out it was stolen from Boerne, Texas.
